Summer Camp
We are looking forward to our third Chamber Music Project summer camp this year from June
12-16, 2023. Participants will have the opportunity to work with professional community members
and coaches during a week immersed in chamber music. Classes will run from 9am-12pm daily
with a performance on the final day of the camp. Each day will consist of 2 hours of
rehearsal/coaching time followed by presentations, masterclasses or workshops in the final hour
of the day. Students can sign up as a group or as individuals. Group requests will be considered,
but are not guaranteed. Auditions are required for all participants. Registration fee is $100.
Enrollment is limited to 40 students and is contingent on audition performance.
We are very excited about some changes coming to our camp this year. First, the Chamber Music
Project is now open to a limited number of pianists! Acceptance will be dependent on audition
performance and the number of available pianos.
We are also looking forward to welcoming the Fry Street Quartet back to our summer camp this
year. On our first day of summer camp, FSQ will be holding a masterclass for one pre-formed
ensemble. For groups who are already rehearsing together and want to participate together, we
invite you to audition as a group. The group who is best prepared will be selected for the honor of
working with Fry Street on the first day of CMP summer camp.
