FSQ Kickoff

Groups are organized and rehearsals are underway. Our Kickoff with the Fry Street Quartet is this Thursday, September 22nd at 6:00. Looking forward to some great music and some inspiring advice from some of our favorite musicians!

CMP 2022-2023 season begins!

 Our 2022-2023 season is beginning and we are so excited to meet with you all this Saturday. Our opening social will begin at 10:00 at Ellis Elementary, where you will find out your coach and group members. Looking forward to a great year of music making!

We are looking forward to next week's summer camp. If you were unable to join us this year, we'd love to have your support in the audience for the performance on June 17th, 2:30 pm at Wilson Elementary.  Registration is now open for the 2022-2023 season! CMP Summer Camp

We are thrilled to announce the Chamber Music Project will be offering a week long chamber music program this Summer from June 28-July 2, 2021. Participants will have the opportunity to work with professional community coaches, as well as members of the Fry Street Quartet. Classes will run from 9am-12pm daily with a performance on the final day of the camp. Each day will consist of 2 hours of rehearsal/coaching time followed by presentations or masterclasses in the final hour of the day. Students can sign up as a group or as individuals. Group requests will be considered, but are not guaranteed.   Participants will be required to wear masks and social distancing will be encouraged. Auditions are required, but can be done either in person or video recording. Registration fee is $100. Enrollment is limited to 40 students and is contingent on audition performance.  Important dates Registration deadline: May 1, 2021 In person auditions: May 6 and May 8, 2021 Video recordings due: May 8, 20

CMP 2020 season

Due to the restrictions placed by the Cache County School District and in an effort to reduce risk to CMP participants, we have decided to postpone our 2020 season to begin in January 2021 and run through the end of May 2021. Tentative audition dates are set for January 14th and January 16th. The audition requirements are: Solo piece (equivalent to Suzuki Book 3 or higher, but does not need to be Suzuki repertoire) Two or Three octave scale of your choice You will be asked to sight-read Please check back for registration and season dates in December.  Students are welcome to form their own groups and begin practicing on their own this fall if they are comfortable. 

CMP 2020-2021

Welcome to the Chamber Music Project 2020-2021 season! Registration is not yet open. Due to COVID-19, our season may look a little differently this year and we are waiting for the guidelines from the school district to be released before we open registration.
